Oh! What a Lovely War
A play from Northern Stage
The play was originally created in London in 1963 by the director Joan Littlewood and her company Theatre Workshop. It is a portrait of the First World War in song and dance. Twelve musicians, dancers, singers and clowns play the music and sing all the songs. Some songs, like Pack Up Your Troubles, are still known today.
A group of KS3 young people reviewed the show for us.
