Horse Walking by Degas

We sent a group of Yr9's to The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge to find out what they could about a sculpture by famous Impressionist painter Edgar Degas. How was it made and how realistic is the sculpture? Why did Degas not exhibit any of these sculptures during his lifetime?
