The Coventry Sculpture

The Coventry Sculpture

The Coventry Sculpture by Peter Laszlo Peri was commissioned for the opening of The Herbert Art Gallery in 1960. The sculpture shows the people of Coventry at work and play but what do the current generation make of it? Our group of young people take a good hard look at this huge sculpture and at another view of Coventry by painter George Shaw, who also grew up in the city.
