Maidstone Museum

Arts Award Discover in a day at Maidstone Museum with a whole class

A group of Year 6 pupils search for artforms around the museum and then do a workshop inspired by the work and techniques of two artists who made work whilst prisoners of war in Germany during World War II.

Arts Award Discover over two days with selected students from six schools at National Coal Mining Museum for England, Wakefield.

Six local Primary schools select Year 6 students with an interest in music for a two day transition project delivered by NCM in partnership with the local Music Hub. They immerse themselves in coal mining heritage and then create and perform.
